Recording Guidelines

Every student that is interested in participating in the Youth Program will be welcomed to participate. In that sense, we would like to get to know you, so that we can serve you better! IMPORTANT: This is NOT an audition! However, this will help us determine repertoire and orchestra assignment according to your unique ability.

1. Use your phone to record a video of yourself and play a 2 minute song or excerpt that you feel comfortable with. If you don't know a song, you can also play a scale, or simply play open strings.
2. Upload your video to YouTube and set the privacy in 'unlisted'.
3. Copy the sharing link and paste it below.

Want to volunteer?

We are excited to welcome back volunteers on-site this year! There will be a limited number of positions available and volunteers will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. The health and safety of everyone involved in the program remains our top priority, most importantly our volunteers. Our protocols specific to the program may include:

• Disinfecting high touch, common areas
• Setting up chairs and stands
• Guiding students to classrooms

Volunteers must be 18 years or older and submit to a background check.

By signing this agreement, you are affirming that you: (i) have read and fully understand its terms, (ii) are giving up substantial rights, including the right to sue, (iii) are signing the agreement freely and voluntarily, and (iv) intend your acceptance to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the maximum extent allowed by Texas law. If any portion of this agreement is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
