After completion of her music degree in Mexico, she furthered her studies in Europe at the Academia Internacional de Roma and in the Netherlands at the Royal Conservatorium of Maastricht, under the prestigious Russian violist Michael Kugel. She has performed as a violist with the professional Orquesta Filarmónica de la UNAM for over 13 years as well as countless music festivals throughout Mexico, in Europe with Leon Spier, and with Fredell Lack in the United States.
