She took classes with Hugo Geller since she was 12. Currently Sara is in her third course at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Navarra (Spain) with Uruguayan guitar master Eduardo Baranzano.Since the age of 9, Sara has been awarded thirty prizes. Some of the most important have been: 1st prize in the Junior Competition of the 17th International Festival of Guitar “Ciudad de Coria,” the David Russell Competition Honor Prize for Youth Talents, and a Prize-Scholarship “1st Contest for Youth Musicians 2017” convened by the Maria Paula Alonso de Ruiz Martinez Foundation.
Sara debuted as soloist with various Spanish orchestras playing the Tedesco Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra, Op.99, and Giuliani’s Concerto No. 1 in A Major, Op. 30. She also premiered David del Puerto’s “Trio” and “Three pieces for Soprano and Guitar.”
At only 18 years old, Sara released her first CD named “Saudades y Danzas,” recorded and edited by Fernando Colás on the KP Music label. This year, she toured in Malasia and Singapore. She has received classes from some of the greatest guitar masters including David Russell, Margarita Escarpa, Carles Trepat, Marcin Dylla, Álvaro Pierri, Carlo Marchione, Roland Dyens among others.
Sara is a D’Addario Artist and plays a Daniel Bernaert guitar.
